Yes, you do! Just sometimes you forget about them for a moment. Just enter "Senior Marketing Manager" in the people search on LinkedIn and set the filters to "1st degree contact + 2nd degree contact + Warsaw". You'll be amazed about the results.

When a 1st degree contact appears: Wonderful!

If a 2nd degree contact appears (i.e. someone that a 1st degree contact of yours knows): Wonderful! Because then you can immediately ask your contact to introduce you (and to hear if they are a good fit). This expands your network and you're another step closer to the recommendation bonus.

There are usually two options here:

You spontaneously think of someone who would be suitable for a vacant position. In this case, you will certainly know very quickly why exactly this person came to mind. And these reasons are your arguments for starting a conversation.

Through the short search (see point before), someone shows up with whom you may have last worked with a long time ago, in another company. You feel stupid because you haven't spoken to each other for a long time, but you think the person would be a good fit.The trick here is that everyone, really everyone, is happy when they feel that someone has thought of them.

If the person is interested, then that's great and you can send them CV. If he/she is not interested, he/she will still remember and appreciate that you thought of him/her.

Well, that's most likely because they don’t know PAYBACK and it happens naturally. Try to introduce the job and if there is still no lack of interest, you can ask about other people this person knows, who potentially fit to the position.

You don't have to worry about that! Before it comes to the hire, we have really great processes that help us -and the candidate – to see if we really fit together.
