What is Mural?
Mural is a digital service that offers whiteboards (murals). On these, you can work alone or in a team with virtual Post-Its and arrange them freely. A double click and the Post-It appears on the canvas. Of course, you can choose different Post-Its in all colours: small, large, bordered, circular and so on. And you can also write on the Mural without Post-Its, for example to create brainstorming boards or the like.
Mural runs on the browser (Chrome or Edge preferred) and allows you to add other team members who can then watch, add or edit. It offers numerous templates, graphic objects, a voting function and much more.
Who can use all Mural and what does it cost?
All PAYBACK, LPS and LP Holding colleagues.
We have a company licence through American Express, which is unlimited. There are no costs for us.
How do I get Mural access?
We use PB Single Sign On (SSO) for Mural, i.e. you log in to Mural with your Windows login. Before you can get started you need access rights. To do this, request access to the group UG_EXT_MURAL_USER in the IAMAPP tool.
After successfully approving your manager, you can log in to Mural https://app.mural.co/signin. Use your PB/LP/LPS email address here. Mural recognises that the user does not yet exist at Mural. Please click on "Create your account". You will then be redirected to the PAYBACK SSO page. Please log in with your Windows login (not your email address) and your Windows password. After accepting the terms and conditions, you are registered with Mural.
If you already had a (free trial) account with the PB/LP/LPS email address in the past, you will land on your old workspace (which has probably expired/locked) after logging in. You will need to join the Loyalty Partner Group Workspace. This is the official and only valid workspace for us.
How can I collaborate with external partners/service providers in MURAL?
By default, only employees with PB/LPH/LPS email account are allowed in our MURAL installation. Uncontrolled external access (visitor function) is disabled for security reason.
If you have partners or service providers that you would like to collaborate with in MURAL for a projekt or workshop, you can request this via the new guests feature.
You can find the service desk ticket template here.
We need the mail domain of the partner/serivce provider (for example: dm.de) and all internal as well as external employees who are to collaborate in MURAL. In the Expire Date field please enter the planned end of the collaboration or projekt. Furthermore we need two internal persons (internal sponsor, team leader or higher) who are responsible for the content and the acces to it.
A MURAL private room is set up in a dedicated workspace for collaboration purposes. All participants will be sent an inviation email for this Private Room. Only Guests will have access to this room and will not be able to access our standard workspace. Please note that guests must log in AND enable 2-factor authentication the first time they access the MURAL link. Therefore, please set up and test the access early before an important workshop in order to avoid problems during the actual appointment.
Please note that guest account will be deactivated after 14 days without login. You can be reactivated by a ticket.
