As of 7/04/2023, new regulations on the rules for remote work (Law of December 1, 2022 on amendments to the Labor Code and certain other laws (Journal of Laws 2023, item 240) are in force. They will replace existing telework, as well as remote work under the COVID-19 Act.

In connection with the amended legislation in this regard, we are introducing the Remote Work Regulations.

The introduction of the Remote Work Regulations does not result in any change to the existing hybrid work formula we have adopted.

New elements that are introduced by the those regulations are:

1. the need to agree on the place(s), where remote work is performed

2. certification that the place/places of remote work meet hygiene and safety conditions

3. e-mail agreement with the supervisor in the each case of other temporary place to perform remote work (and certify that it meets hygiene and safety conditions)

4. monthly payment of a lump sum for electricity and internet.

The lump sum in the hybrid formula will be PLN 30 per month.

The new changes do not make it necessary to annex employment contracts, but involve the need to agree on the terms of performing remote workbetween the employee and the employer, and for the employee to make the relevant declarations:

According to the new regulations, documentation related to remote work must be kept in the employee's personnel file, so please print, fill out and deliver the above-mentioned documents to the HR department.

We have also prepared a Q&A document, in which you will find answers to the most common questions.

Please direct all questions to HR team.
