Social insurances
Statutory health insurance:
The membership certificate for the statutory health insurance does no longer need to be submitted to us since January 2021. During your onboarding, we only need your health insurance company to be entered in the personnel questionnaire.
When changing the statutory health insurance:
If you change your health insurance during your employment, we will only need this information by email with details of your new statutory health insurance and the date from which you will be with the new health insurance.
Private health insurance:
For your private health insurance, a confirmation for the employer according to § 257 and § 61 SGB (“Bescheinigung zur Vorlage beim Arbeitgeber”) as well as the certificate for pension expenses according to § 10 EStG (“Bescheinigung über Vorsorgeaufwendungen”) together with the details of the last statutory health insurance company must be submitted. This is necessary for the payment of the employer's allowance. Please submit the annual and, in some cases, updated documents (e.g. with changes in contributions) of the private health insurance for the employer in good time before the change date only in a digital version by email to HR.
Statutory pension insurance:
The statutory pension insurance (together with the unemployment insurance) is paid in equal parts by the employer and colleague up to a maximum limit, the so-called contribution assessment limit in the pension insurance, from your salary directly to the German pension insurance. You must enter your pension insurance number, also known as your social security number, in your HR master data sheet when you join our company.
