Now we can announce the roll-out of CrowdStrike Falcon for Mobile to all company-owned devices (Android & iOS). This important step is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the security of our digital infrastructure and to protect our valuable data assets.
What you need to know:
- CrowdStrike Falcon for Mobile will operate in the background to safeguard against potential security threats.
- There will be no access of your personal applications or messages on company-owned devices, but of course we must monitor for malicious behavior of the apps.

Here you will see the CrowdStrike app popping up, which will be automatically installed.

On iOS & iPadOS you must confirm the download/installation via the side Button.

iOS Devices
On iOS devices, CrowdStrike Falcon for Mobile monitors and logs the network activity of all apps on supervised devices. In addition to this data, basic statistics from the phone such as battery usage, device jailbreaking. None of the data contains private or personal information, such as text messages, emails, or browsing history.
Android Devices
The corporate apps being monitored by CrowdStrike Falcon for Mobile are clearly indicated by a small CrowdStrike Falcon for Mobile icon emblazoned over the app icon. CrowdStrike Falcon for Mobile will gather network, operating system, and access data for each monitored app. In addition to this data, the CrowdStrike Falcon for Mobile app will gather basic statistics from the phone such as battery usage, CPU usage, device rooting. None of the data contains private or personal information, such as text messages, emails, or browsing history.
In a case of an incident, it will create an alert which contains the website which caused the incident.
