Office & Workplace
We have started with adjustments on the 2nd floor as well as the LPS floor, with so-called pilot areas. All other workplaces for permanent colleagues and Friends will remain as they are for the time being. Here, too, we are learning from the experience we gather together in the first few months and will react flexibly if necessary.
As before, students will use the vacant spaces (due to vacation, illness, part-time, etc.).
We assume that there is a workstation for everyone in the teams (as was the case before COVID) and that workstations can be used by other people who are not there on that day. Team days can and should also be arranged accordingly with other teams, especially at the beginning.
In principle, all colleagues in the office have a fully equipped workplace with individually required monitors, docking stations, height-adjustable desks and new office chairs. To ensure that working from home also functions well, we provide all colleagues with basic IT equipment - if this has not already been provided. This includes a keyboard, a mouse, a headset, a 22" monitor and a travel adapter. Please contact the helpdesk directly.
To help us collaborate better when colleagues are working both in the office and virtually, we have video conferencing systems in our meeting rooms. The new technology should help all meeting participants to interact with each other as if they were all in the same room.
But ultimately, better collaboration is up to all of us, both when we're in the office and when we're participating in a meeting from mobile work.
In case the tablet doesn't work please just call 1690 - the colleagues will be happy to help you out!
