Therapy measures

Osteopathic and physiotherapy is the second core of our work.

If you are looking for individual care, you can book individual lessons with Niko. You define the exact contents in a personal conversation with Niko himself.

Physical therapy

Or physiotherapy is the form of treatment in which the normal physiological state of the musculoskeletal system is restored through the correct exercises, usually own.

Manual therapy

Manual therapy is the proprietary physiotherapeutic treatment modality for treating dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system (joints, muscles and nerves), e.g. for mobilization after surgery so that the joint and its surrounding tissues, capsule, ligaments, muscles, nerves and fascia do not contract. Every joint in the body can and should be mobilized if necessary.

Osteopathy

Why Osteopathy?
Because tablets or injections, for example, can not let a blocked vertebra move freely or mobilize knee.

What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a full-fledged medical discipline that focuses on the manual diagnostic and therapeutic approach to musculoskeletal dysfunction. The goal of osteopathy is the restoration of physical functioning through the manual elimination of blockages or loss of movement - regardless of tissue. Osteopathy is at the same time science, art and philosophy.

Science
A science, as a thorough knowledge of basic medical sciences such as anatomy and physiology is essential to practice osteopathy safely and competently.

Art
It is an art to manually promote and restore health or physical balance. This art requires a lot of hands-on practice and a strong dedication to the profession.

Philosophy
Osteopathy is also a philosophy: it has its own view of disease and its causes, as well as strong practical principles for its therapy.

For whom is osteopathic therapy suitable?
For all, regardless of age. There must be a somatic dysfunction, i.e. a restriction of movement regardless of the tissue.
However, as soon as there is a structural change, i.e. the tissue has remodeled, a complete cure is not possible, but only an improvement of the symptoms.

What comes after osteopathic therapy?
Don't train on dysfunction! I.e. after the tissues and joints are free to move again, the musculoskeletal system must be actively stabilized, e.g. with functional training.

What is osteopathy not?
Osteopathy is neither esoteric nor a laying on of hands therapy, as it is unfortunately too often practiced.

Lymphatic drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage is a form of therapy of physical applications. It is mainly used as an edema and decongestion therapy of swollen areas of the body, such as the trunk of the body and extremities such as arms and legs), which may occur after injuries or surgery. Circular shifting techniques, which are applied with light pressure, are used to shift fluid from the tissues into the lymphatic system. There should not and must not be an increase in blood flow, as in classical massage.

Rehab measures

What is musculoskeletal rehabilitation?

As a conservative post-treatment of sports injuries. As after-treatment of surgeries. For back and memory complaints.

For us, rehabilitation means comprehensive and intensive care. In your first healing phase we accompany you with mainly passive measures. These decongestant, pain-relieving and mobilizing treatments accelerate the healing process. Afterwards, the increased active training takes effect. Here we prepare you for everyday demands and get you moving again.

We make you fit for sports - no matter if you are an ambitious recreational or competitive athlete. In doing so, we draw on our many years of experience and state-of-the-art equipment. For example, with tests we can objectively determine whether rehab is complete or whether further measures are required.

Medical massage therapy

The increase in blood circulation stimulated by massage helps to release and eliminate tension and adhesions in the muscles (myogeloses).
