The number to phone in the event of a fire or emergency in Munich is: 0-112
In any case you need to inform the reception (-99) first/as well!
In the event of a fire or emergency, an acoustic signal is triggered to indicate the fire protection system.
Emergency exits and escape routes
Evacuation plans for Munich are displayed in the vicinity of all public thoroughfares. They indicate the location within the building, emergency exits/escape routes and the location of first-aid boxes and fire extinguishers.
Please familiarize yourselves with the emergency exits and escape routes and the relevant signs.
In the event of a fire
Please ask for the evacuation aider responsible for your evacuation area.

In an emergency the evacuation aider will wear yellow safety vests titled as “Evakuierungshelfer” and a whistles for the alarm.
Please obey the orders of the evacuation aider immediately and leave the building via the shortest way by using the stairs
Already evacuated and secured evacuation areas are marked with a red marker ribbon / cord to the doorknobs. These areas may not be entered!
In the event of a fire
In the event of a emergency, our assembly point is is the large “Snail plaza” between the Bavaria Beer garden and the Deutsches Museum/Verkehrsmuseum.
Find your office mates and group the way you sit together in the offices.
Only the police or fire department will end the evacuation, until then stay at the meeting place.
